From childhood, I always knew I wanted to be a dentist because of how kind and gentle my family dentist was.

But when I graduated from dental school, I was disillusioned with how poor the options were for someone missing or losing their teeth.

Thankfully, I had the opportunity to be exposed to the leading pioneer in dental implants during my residency. Dental implants became my passion, and I dedicated my career to helping people refresh and restore their smiles.

Over the years and with the help of many leaders in the field, I’ve been able to gain the skills, expertise, and experience to personally offer our patients a huge menu of transformative implant solutions.

With a genuine love for people, Dr. Howard is always focused on building relationships and delivering results that match the goals of each patient. He is especially dedicated to caring for people with dental phobias and providing a full range of complex implant surgery and restorations. As an example of his cutting-edge leadership, he was one of the first dental surgeons in Colorado to offer guided 3D surgery and Teeth In A Day. He has also been providing IV sedation and advanced surgical procedures in Northern Colorado at the highest level for over three decades.

Dr. Howard has traveled to Haiti, Mexico, and Malawi, Africa to provide volunteer dental care for some of the most impoverished people in the world. Closer to home, he offers donated dental care through local non-profits like Dental Lifeline which serves the underprivileged and disabled in the community. In recognition of his service, he received the Outstanding Service Award for Colorado Donated Dental Services in 2017.

husband & father

He loves spending time with his wife, Pam. (She is passionately involved with local public schools, including serving for two terms on the Thompson School District Board of Education as Vice President. She is also dedicated to volunteering with local non-profit organizations.) They have three grown daughters who have found their passions and careers.

Dr. Howard also enjoys outdoor recreational opportunities including rock climbing, soccer, and running ultra-marathons in the mountains.
